The moment he said it, I knew it was the one.
I come from an Indian-Pakistani background, where chai is the staple drink in every household. My parents always tried to introduce me to chai, but I was never a “chai girly.” After college, on my days off from work, my dad always knew that the first thing I would do was get my coffee. Running errands with him meant stopping first for my favorite drink—a tradition that has shaped my lifelong love for coffee.

Our first event was at a Muslim festival, and while it was an exciting opportunity, it also came with its challenges. Things didn’t go as planned, and I was on the verge of giving up before even starting. But thanks to my husband and my family, my biggest supporters, I kept going. Their encouragement turned what felt like a disaster into a successful and memorable event.
